ALBERT4 SIEBLER (C WILLIAM3, FRIEDRICH2, JOHANN WILHELM1) was born in May 1894 in Cornlea, Nebraska, and died in Dec 1954 in Loup City, Nebraska. He married MARTHA DOROTHEA BREMER in Oct 1918 in St Paul Nebraska. She was the daughter of CARL BREMER and ANNA PAULMAN. She was born in Feb 1898 in Boelus, Nebraska, and died in Loup City, Nebraska.
Notes for ALBERT SIEBLER:
Albert was living on a farm many miles north of Cornlea when his mother
became deathly ill. The farmer he was working for didn't tell Albert about his mother's
condition because the farmer needed Albert to keep working
in the fields. Finally, a
priest walked out to the farm from Cornlea to personally tell Albert
the sad news, and to bring Albert back into town so he could be
with his dying mother. Legend has it that "on the same night Lena died,
lighting struck the farmhouse and the room that Albert had stayed
in burned to the ground. The rest of the house was left
standing intact.....untouched by the fire." Actually
the room did burn but it was a few months later. An excerpt
from the local newspaper reads,
"The section house was struck by lighting about 2 am Tuesday
morning and was soon put out by Millard Bloom. About 50 dollars
damage was done."

He worked at the Sim's Buick dealership in Aurora when he and Martha got married.
Albert was always late for Sunday Dinner.
